2015 VDP.Sekt Réserve Brut Nature Blanc de Noirs, Württemberg, Germany

Tart, somewhat smoky, nutty and yeasty pome fruit scent with a little celery, bacon and a hint of butter. Cool, tightly knit, bone-dry fruit, fine vegetal, nutty and yeasty notes, fine mousseux, some grip from very slightly drying tannin, smoky hints, good persistence, salt in the background, herbal tones and smoke, citrus flavours, very good finish with grip and very slight bitterness.
