Firm nose, still slightly closed, light smoky notes, blackberries and sour cherries, tart herbaceous, earthy and minerally notes, hint of bacon, cedary traces, peppery and tarry traces. Firm and juicy, fairly concentrated, partly preserved dark fruit on the palate, smoky oak, dark chocolate, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, persistent, some depth, hint of citrus zests in the background, cool mineral notes, hint of coffee, still largely undeveloped, fresh pomegranate, clear contours, firm bite and gripo, slightly bitter spicy oak on a very good, firm, juicy finish.
