2013 Fellbach Lämmler Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Somewhat nutty and slightly dried planty and floral aroma of red and black berries with hints of wood and undergrowth, nuts, a hint of tobacco and smoke. Clear, polished, somewhat developed fruit with very fine, still quite taut, at the same time ripe tannin and a certain acid bite, nutty-woody hints on the palate, persistent, something deep, salt in the background, dried-vegetable and smoky hints, very good, firm, tart-juicy and finely spicy finish, again with mineral nuances. Doesn't quite hold its youthful form, but still has a certain class now and drinks wonderfully.
