Clear nose, predominantly black and a few red berries, hint of tobacco, some dried flowers and herbs, peppery traces. Ripe, fairly firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, moderate nutty, spicy oak, fairly prominent, slightly sandy and astringent tannins, peppery traces, hint of tobacco, medium body and some persistence, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, slightly brittle on an otherwise good to very good finish.
