2018 Escherndorf Am Lumpen 1655 Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Cool nose, delicate floral and herbaceous notes, citrus and stone fruit aromas, yeasty and ethereal traces, hint of caraway, prominent mineral notes. Firm, juicy, slightly off-dryfruit on the palate, vegetal, herbaceous and floral traces, touch of yellow spice, elegant acidity, ripe tannins provide some grip, hint of red berries in the background, good depth, persistent, prominent chalky and salty mineral notes, still undeveloped, some bite on a very good, fairly firm finish.
