2016 Silvaner trocken "L", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm nose, still slightly closed, fairly deep, pomaceous fruit, herbaceous aromas, dried floral traces, hint of juniper and bay leaf, prominent mineral notes, nutty traces, hint of tobacco. Ripe, tart, juicy, very firm fruit on the palate, cool herbaceous nutty and earthy notes, very elegant acidity, light tannic grip, good persistence and some depth, still fairly compact and undeveloped, very salty in the backgorund, touch of citrus zests, peppery and floral traces, floral notes, herbs and spices, acid bite and more prominent mineral notes on a very good firm, juicy finish.
