2015 Escherndorf Lump Silvaner trocken Erste Lage, Alte Reben, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Youthful, fairly firm and deep nose, light yeasty notes, nutty notes and peppery spice, prominent dark mineral notes. Ripe, firm, elegant, juicy, slightly creamy fruit on the palate, very elegant, lively acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, persistent and concentrated, yeasty traces, light peppery notes, intense earthy and salty mineral notes, fairly full-bodied, some tobacco and old oak in the background, still largely undeveloped, very good grippy, tart, spicy finish. Excellent wine.
