2021 Kamptal DAC Ried Loiserberg Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Yellow fruity, delicately nutty and somewhat floral nose with fine vegetal aromas, light tobacco and a little yellow spice. Ripe, warm, spicy and a touch sweetish fruit, restrained phenolic grip and relatively fine acidity, a hint of dark berries in the background, floral nuances, noticeable alcohol and melting, waxy hints, candied nuts, yellow-spicy tones, a little smoke and hints of ginger spiciness, very good, again alcoholic finish with mineral tones becoming more pronounced with air.

Editor note: Slightly waxy and floral nose of ripe pome and stone fruit with a hint of honeyed cucumber, herbs, pepper, hints of black berries and tobacco. Firmly woven, ripe, relatively cool, somewhat sweetish fruit, herbal, tobacco and yellow-spicy aromas, persistent, dense and grippy, fine acidity, ethereal notes, smoke and clear, salty minerality, a little citrus zest, hints of caramel, very good, firm, juicy and again ethereal-spicy finish.
