2021 Kamptal DAC Ried Käferberg Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, firmly woven, fine-vegetable fragrance with quite noble yellow-fruity aromas, a hint of pepper as well as nutty and very delicate tobacco notes. Ripe, melting, a touch sweetish fruit, vegetal and a little nutty tones, delicately floral in the background, very fine acidity, delicate grip, has power and warmth, a touch of dark berries in the background, herbal aromas and again a little tobacco, hints of yellow spice, ginger tones, a touch of caramel and honey, very good, warm, again slightly sweet and relatively alcoholic finish with grip and lots of salt.

Editor note: Firm, nutty scent with slightly warm yellow fruity aromas, hints of smoke, nutty tones, pepper, root vegetables and minerality. Ripe, again quite firmly knitted fruit, clearly ethereal, partly herbal spice, salt, some pepper and floral notes, a hint of dark berries, lasting and powerful, sweet melting, lots of grip, a little yellow spice, ginger heat and a hint of honey cucumber, good depth, hints of dark caramel, very good, ripe-juicy, spicy and sweet finish with ethereal notes.
