2021 Kamptal DAC Ried Dechant Grüner Veltliner Reserve trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Bottle image in HD without watermark

Firm and quite deep, clearly herbaceous-vegetable, delicately smoky and hinted at yeasty fragrance with quite fine aromas of ripe yellow fruits, a hint of root vegetables and minerality. Ripe, juicy fruit with sweet melting, but also rather tart vegetal flavours and mineral spiciness, fine acidity, a little grip of crumbly tannin, buttery nuances on the palate, good persistence, plenty of power and alcohol, but a healthy acid bite ensures that the wine does not go wide, a little resinous herbs, very good finish.
