Somewhat ethereal-herbal, almondy and slightly mushroomy pome and stone fruit scents with a hint of crabmeat, mushrooms and white pepper. Ripe, slightly sweet fruit with a hint of nut butter and quite clear wood, lively acidity, delicate tannic grip, some persistence, hints of lavender and rosemary, salty tones, very good finish, again with clear, nutty wood perfume and buttery tones. The wood is getting in the way of the wine a bit at the moment.
