The winery is located in the municipality of Traiskirchen in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion
. The family has been growing wine here for four generations, today the estate is managed by Josef and Jana Piriwe. A Heurigen restaurant
is attached. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards in the communities of Gumpoldskirchen
, Pfaffstätten and Traiskirchen. They are planted with the white wine varieties Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Rotgipfler, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Rotgipfler and Zierfandler, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Blauer Burgunder and Cabernet Sauvignon
The cultivation is carried out in a near-natural, environmentally friendly manner. The quality criteria include rigorous yield limitation. The flagship of the house is the red wine [Pi]not Noir, aged for 36 months in Wienerwaldeiche. Other premium wines are the regional speciality Spätrot-Rotgipfler
, Zierfandler Symfonie, Rotgipfler Selektion, Chardonnay Bründlbach Selektion and the Cuvée Piri Vino (Veltliner, Welschriesling, Zierfandler, Rotgipfler). In years with suitable weather conditions, Trockenbeerenauslese
are also pressed. Fine brandies are also produced. The winery is a member of the association Weinstraße Thermenregion.
