The winery is located in the municipality of Göttlesbrunn in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Carnuntum. It has been managed by Gerhard Pimpel since 2000. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards in the areas Altenberg, Bärnreiser, Hagelsberg, Haidacker, Rosenberg and Schüttenberg. They are planted to 80% with the red wine varieties Zweigelt (which has a special place in the winery), Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and to 20% with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, and Chardonnay. The credo of the winery is: "What has not been achieved in the vineyard cannot be made up for in the cellar" The wines should reflect the typicality of grape variety, location and climate. This is achieved through short pruning, thinning out twice and selective manual harvesting. During vinification, a non-invasive principle applies with as few interventions as possible and gentle processing. Premium wines are the red wines Zweigelt Selektion, Optime (Merlot) and the Cuvée Downhill (Zweigelt, Merlot), as well as the white wine cuvée Rosenwind (Riesling, Welschriesling). The winery is a member of the Rubin Carnuntum Weingüter and Traditionsweingüter Österreich winegrowers' associations.
