2004 Mittelburgenland Shiraz trocken Maria´s Vineyard, Burgenland, Austria

Mixed berries and cherries on the nose, pepper and some dried herbs, smoky and roasted notes. Fairly cool style, elegantly juicy fruit, more peppery notes, prominent oak with smoky and roasted notes, slightly astringent tannins, some smoked meat on the palate, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
