2020 Ungstein Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken "Terra Rossa", Pfalz, Germany

Relatively cool, firm, somewhat vegetal to dried herbal and hinted almondy scent of yellow fruits with a hint of white berries and nuances reminiscent of pepper and fennel. Quite polished, tightly knit fruit with still yeasty aromas, lively acidity, some carbonic acid, some tannic grip and good persistence, red berries, celery and hints of lemon verbena in the background, salty and chalky tones, very good, slightly peppery and a hint of yellow-spicy finish with juice and draw.
