2021 Wachau DAC Ried Kaiserberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Herbal and finely vegetal, slightly fennel-like nose of ripe yellow fruits with a little mustard cucumber, yellow spice, a touch of coffee and jalapeños. Ripe, somewhat warm, melting, sweetish fruit, candy notes, hints of light tobacco and peanutty tones, moderate acidity, some grip, waxy and buttery nuances, good persistence, slightly warm and rather soft style, very good, again sweetish finish with a little smoke, liquorice and yellow spice.
