2017 Landwein trocken "Pure Burgundy", Austria

Slightly cloudy amber. Somewhat dried-vegetable and slightly tobacco aroma with nutty aromas, restrained notes of dried yellow fruits, red berry nuances, a hint of smoke and floral nuances. Firm and tart-juicy in the mouth, nutty, fruity and tobacco, a little yellow spiciness on the palate, dried-vegetable to herbal notes, a hint of pepper, persistent, dense and powerful, fine acidity, lots of grip of friable tannin, smoky to bacony nuances in the background, a hint of egg yolk, certain warmth, very good, juicy, spicy and grippy finish with persistence.
