2020 Mehring Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken Alte Reben, Mosel, Germany

Taut, herbaceous-vegetable, still very slightly smoky-reductive nose with quite fine yellow-fruity aromas, a little yeast, red berry traces and quite clear minerality. Tight, clear, rather cool, bright fruit, fine acidity and grip, distinct minerality, persistent on the palate, smoky and yeasty nuances, still undeveloped, some depth, very good, fine-juicy, cool finish with tart-mineral tones.
