2019 Mehring Layet Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Firm, fresh, somewhat herbaceous, yeasty and a touch yellow-spicy aroma of ripe citrus fruits and stone fruits, floral nuances and minerality. Taut, rather tart, juicy fruit with lively, very fine acidity, grip of ripe tannin, yeast and herbal notes, somewhat spicy on the palate, floral nuances, hints of nuttiness, distinct minerality, has depth and substance, still undeveloped, very good, juicy grip, fine spice and mineral finish. Once again much stronger than the obviously a little indisposed bottle last autumn
