2012 Ockfen Bockstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Clear, polished, very slightly nutty, yeasty and spicy citrus stone fruit nose with floral nuances and some minerality. Ripe, juicy, very slightly sweet fruit, again nutty and yeasty tones and some yellow spice, fine acidity, some grip, some melting, a hint of candy, very delicate waxy and smoky notes, some minerality, very good finish. In very nice condition, clearly better than young, harmonious, still without any ripe tones. We underestimated it a bit at the time
