2020 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Moarfeitl Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm and quite deep, somewhat smoky, also nutty and a little lightly woody spicy aroma with yellow fruity aromas, fine vegetal tones, a hint of mustard pickle, dark spice and minerality. Taut, tangy, almost cool fruit, nutty, slightly yeasty and yellow-spicy aromas, a little smoke and woody nuances, lively acidity, grip of ripe, fine-sand tannins, persistent, has substance and a certain depth, clear minerality, rather firm structure, in the background again cooling, delicately ethereal herbaceous-vegetable aromas, very good, firm finish with bite and grip.
