2019 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Straden Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm, tart, clearly vegetal, especially reminiscent of celery, with white, green and yellow fruit aromas and a little white pepper. Ripe, tangy fruit, again clearly vegetal aromas, earthy, salty and slightly nutty tones, still a little yeasty, friable-tannic nuances, lasting, good substance and density, tart spicy notes, mineral in the background, almost a little smoky, still undeveloped, very good, firm, grippy, spicy, mineral and tangy-juicy finish. Needs to mature a little more
