2019 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Klausen Sauvignon Blanc Erste STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Quite deep, somewhat nutty and a little smoky aroma with fine yellow fruity aromas, hints of white currants, relatively fresh and rather cool herbal spice, floral nuances and some minerality. Ripe, juicy, slightly melting and at the same time firmly knitted fruit, again with nutty aromas, delicately yeasty, very fine acidity, persistent on the palate, rather calm style, good substance and depth, buttery traces in the background, slightly smoky and tobacco tones, hints of pepper, still young, distinct minerality, a hint of dark berries, very good, firm finish with tart, yet again somewhat melting fruit and spice.
