2018 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Saziani Grauburgunder Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Cool, firm, somewhat smoky, nutty, vegetal and dried herbal scent of bright yellow fruits with mineral hints and a hint of fennel. Firm, quite polished fruit with delicate melting, a hint of candy and nuances reminiscent of laurel, very fine and at the same time lively acidity, noticeably ripe tannin and good persistence, certain depth, nutty-woody and spicy flavours in the background, salty and earthy minerality, very good finish with grip
