2009 Vulkanland Steiermark Ried Moarfeitl Sauvignon Blanc trocken STK Große Lage, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Deep nutty nose, spicy oak, ripe, partly preserved and candied yellow fruit, vegetal notes, hint of caramel and mineral notes. Concentrated, full-bodied and juicy on the palate, ripe creamy fruit, prominent candied nuts and oak, some caramel and nougat, elegant, fairly lively acidity, excellent substance, tremendous presistence, intense mineral notes, still very young and compact, very deep and complex, firm structure, long finish. Continues to evolve for several days.
