2022 Grauburgunder Landwein Fumé, Pfalz, Germany

Cloudy orange-red. Nutty, yeasty and reminiscent of white bread aroma of partly preserved stone fruit and apricots with red berry notes. Tart, juicy, youthful fruit, yeasty, nutty and a little planty to floral aromas, fine acidity and a delicate grip of crumbly tannin, persistent on the palate, has a certain coolness, at the same time surprisingly viscous texture, but nowhere broad, smoky traces, lots of salt, very good, tart, juicy finish with fine planty and again also nutty tones.

Best to drink: Bis 2027+. What our ratings mean
