2021 Godramstein Chardonnay VDP.Ortswein trocken "Kalkgestein", Pfalz, Germany

Clear, tart, somewhat yeasty, slightly nutty and a hint of smoke on the nose with restrained, bright yellow fruity notes and herbal to herbaceous nuances. Clear, fresh, juicy, citrus-accentuated fruit, yeasty, herbal and nutty tones, a hint of smoke, quite lively acidity, grip of ripe, crumbly tannin, good persistence, still a touch of carbonic acid, chalky-salty minerality, good to very good finish with bite, fresh juice and fine spice.
