2021 Godramstein Münzberg Weißburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken "Schlangenpfiff", Pfalz, Germany

Nutty and somewhat dried planty, delicately floral, very slightly warm aroma of ripe pome fruits and citrus fruits with moderate, slightly tobacco wood spice. Ripe, juicy, partly candied fruit, nutty and tobacco wood tones, fine acidity, some grip of fine sandy tannin still drying a touch, a little egg, tart, light mineral tones in the background, still a hint of carbonic acid, warm and cool elements, some depth, quite firm core, very good, tight, juicy, tart-spicy and mineral finish. Superior to the first, obviously slightly impaired sample.

Editor note: Warm, vegetal and somewhat nutty aroma of partly candied yellow fruits with mushroomy notes, a little yellow spice, woody tones and hints of alcoholic pungency. Quite dry, somewhat lemony fruit with very present acidity, slightly rough tannin, a little salt, mushrooms and parsley, some persistence, a touch of protein, light wood tones, salt in the background, noticeable alcohol, nutty flavours, not quite composed, a little bitterish, slightly rough finish, again with alcohol and very present acidity.
