Warmer scent of ripe, partly preserved black berries with cherry notes, pipe tobacco, moderately roasted barrel tones, a hint of dried meat, cedar wood, and blood. Firmly structured, ripe and quite polished, juicy dark fruit, relatively present, fine sandy tannins, lasting on the palate, herbal nuances, slightly roasted and tobacco-like wood notes, again with cedar hints, has cooling elements despite the high alcohol strength, meaty and tomato-like traces, a bit of bite, very good, clear, juicy, and finely spiced finish. Surprises with finesse and precision despite the quite high alcohol content.
