2021 Retzbach Benediktusberg Grauburgunder VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nutty, somewhat mushroomy and finely vegetal aroma with calm stone fruit aromas, tobacco, floral nuances, as well as a little wood and smoke. Ripe, juicy, yet bone-dry fruit, very fine acidity and some grip, again smoky and tobacco aromas on the palate, a hint of root vegetables, mushrooms also hinted at in the background, mineral notes, some melting, fresh vegetal nuances, very delicately ethereal, very good, firm, tangy and again grippy finish.
