Tart nose, earthy notes, hints of bacon, mushrooms and tobacco, fairly restrained berry fruit, smoky notes. Ripe, predominantly red, partly preserved fruit on the palate, dried vegetal notes, hint of tobacco and bacon, smoky notes, fine, sandy, slightly astringent tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, good persistence, hint of cocoa and some sugar candy, more mushrooms on a good to very good, slightly warm, toasted finish.
