2020 Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT "Cassiano", Alto Adige, Italy

Tart, firm and quite deep, slightly peppery aroma of predominantly black berries and a little cherry with dry herbal aromas and smoky-bacon notes. Ripe, tart dark, partly downright blue fruit, smoky-specky, tobacco and peppery aromas, some acid bite, present, crumbly-sandy tannin, persistent and quite powerful on the palate, toasty wood flavours, dark ethereal spice, in the background also mineral tones, cocoa and coffee notes, still completely undeveloped, very good, dense finish with dark fruit, wood, noticeable alcohol, but also quite complex spice.
