Firm and quite deep, a hint of fennel with white and yellow fruity aromas, fine rooty tones, a little almond and pointed cabbage. Tart, juicy, tightly knit fruit with fine acidity and lots of grip, somewhat almondy and smoky on the palate, fennel again and some pointed cabbage, persistent, some depth, chalk and lots of salt, also white-peppery tones, a hint of elderflower, medium power, very good, firm finish.
