2019 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Terlan "Sophie", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm and quite deep, multi-layered bouquet with bright yellow fruity aromas, fine herbal-planty tones, floral nuances, hints of nuts, some minerality and a hint of dark berries. Rather tightly knit, concentrated, slightly creamy, tart-juicy fruit, very fine acidity, some grip of crumbly tannin, nutty and smoky hints, herbs on the palate, a hint of pepper, good depth, has power and substance, a little light wood in the background, still young, clearly mineral, a hint of citrus zest and yellow spice, very good to long, tight, multi-layered, juicy and spicy finish.

Best to drink: 2023-2028+. What our ratings mean
