2019 Carnuntum DAC Ried Rosenberg Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Taut, slightly herbal and floral aroma of ripe, partly candied citrus fruits and stone fruits with quite fine vegetal aromas, orange zest, some light wood and hints of smoke, mineral nuances and a little ethereal spice. Ripe, firm, very juicy fruit with smoky and herbal-vegetal tones, nutty wood spice and floral hints, persistent on the palate, lots of power, but again also cooling ethereal elements, some butter and a hint of caramel, some depth, salty minerality, very good, juicy and spicy finish.
