Firm, somewhat leathery, delicately smoky and a touch peppery aroma of ripe predominantly black berries with notes of dried tomatoes, black olives and tar. Ripe, juicy, densely knitted fruit, youthful, yet very fine tannin and moderate, a touch of cedary wood spice, a little nutty and bitter chocolate in the background, peppery nuances, Mediterranean herbs and black olives, some depth, has power, still undeveloped, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
