2018 Carnuntum DAC Ried Rosenberg Chardonnay trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Nutty, hinted at asparagus-vegetable and very slightly smoky, warm aroma with yellow fruity aromas, some yellow spice, a touch of butter, wood nuances and mushrooms. Ripe, melting, warm fruit, nutty and somewhat vanilla wood aromas, again some butter and yellow spice, fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, a little candy and smoke, powerful and warm type, but with cooling ethereal nuances, salt in the background, relatively complex, a touch of morels, very good, warm finish.
