2009 Carnuntum Ried Haidacker Zweigelt trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Nose initially slightly reductive with light animal notes, slightly sharp, with aeration shows vegetal notes and oak, some preserved forest berries, later shows some cherries and mineral traces. Polished, fairly cool, juicy, partly preserved berry fruit on the palate, herbaceous and vegetal notes, has substance, some contours, integrated, still very slightly astringent tannins, very full-bodied, shows its origin, good finish.
