2006 Carnuntum Göttlesbrunn Merlot-Zweigelt trocken Tiberius, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Preserved black berries and cherries on the nose, some red berries, mineral notes in the background, roasted notes. Quite concentrated and juicy on the palate, more prominent roasted oak and chocolate, sweetish and peppery spicy notes, fairly prominent fine tannins, ripe fruit, full-bodied and persistent, very creamy, has some depth, juicy with sweetish spicy oak on a long finish.

Best to drink: 2010-2014. What our ratings mean
