Tart nose, very ripe black berries, prominent mineral notes, spicy oak, tobacco, some black olives and herbs. Firm and full-bodied, quite concentrated dark fruit on the palate, roasted, spicy oak, more very prominent mineral notes, fairly prominent, but fine and mature tannins, good persistence, noticeable but quite well integrated alcohol, has some depth, very good finish. Needs time to develop.

Best to drink: 2012-2020+. What our ratings mean
