2004 Carnuntum trocken Cuvée Lukas, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Quite a complex nose with dark berries, cherries and dried herbs, dark roasted notes in the background. Quite concentrated and juicy in the mouth, oak more prominent than on the nose, medium-fine, slightly astringent tannins, smoky notes and some smoked meat, good persistence on the palate, medium-bodied, good finish.
