Preserved black berries on the nose, earthy notes, prominent oak, sooty and burnt notes. Full-bodied, dark, juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, loads of oak, more prominent smoky, sooty and roasted notes, tart herbaceous notes and earthy notes in the background, prominent, slightly astringent tannins, noticeable alcohol, good persistence and has some depth, mineral traces, very good finish. Has come together nicely.
