The winery is located in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Kamptal. It has been run by the fifth generation of the family since 1859. Since 1990 Ludwig Ehn jr. has been responsible for the cellar management (oenology). The sibling couple Ludwig and Michaela Ehn took over and managed the winery in 1996, and the winery is run in a natural way. The vineyards comprise 15 hectares of vineyards in the areas Panzaun, Fraupoint, Harein, Heiligenstein, Kogelberg, Loiserberg, Oberer Panzaun, Seeberg and Thal. They are 95% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (main variety with 7 hectares), Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Muskat-Ottonel, Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau) and Gelber Muskateller, the rest with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blauer Portugieser, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are cultivated in a natural way. The wines are vinified fresh and fruity with typical varietal characteristics. To the premium wines different Grüner Veltliner and Riesling , Gelber Muskateller Panzaun and the red wine cuvée Tizian (Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir). Around 70,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' associations 11 Frauen & ihre Weine and Traditionsweingüter Österreich.
