2014 trocken Cuvée Salomé, Baden, Germany

Clear nose, predominantly black and a few red berries, tart cherry notes, earthy traces, light toasted and peppery notes, hint of tobacco. Tart, predominantly dark fruit on the palate, noticeable nutty, toasted oak, fairly prominent, slightly astringent tannins, cocoa and coffee in the background, light bite, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, dried vegetal notes, good persistence, good to very good finish.
