2024 Dienheim Tafelstein Chardonnay Réserve trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

A somewhat smoky and nutty-fungal scent with bitter, bright yellow fruit hints, a little lichen and dried mushrooms. Slim, again bitter fruit with woody notes, again fleshy and earthy-vegetable nuances, nutty on the palate, relatively present acidity, very slightly drying tannin, certain sustainability, mineral and tobacco hints, good to very good finish.
