2015 Pinot Noir trocken vom Löss, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly cool, polished nose, red berries and cherries, light herbaceous and mineral notes, some peppery spice. Ripe fruit on the palate, tart with light nutty, toasted oak, some smoked bacon, persistent, good substance, light salty notes in the background, more light peppery spice, fine sandy, grippy tannins, some depth, medium body, but also has cool mineral notes, very good finish.
