2015 Nierstein Orbel Riesling trocken Alte Rebe, Sansibar Exklusiv, Rheinhessen, Germany

Tart, slightly sharp nose, prominent vegetal and some sulphurous notes, citrus and stone fruit, light floral notes, some yellow spice, mineral notes and broccoli in the background. Sweetish fruit on the palate, nutty and yeasty notes, green vegetal and herbaceous aromas, very light bitter resiny notes, very prominent acidity, slightly rough tannins, good persistence and substance, slightly sharp green olives in the background, delicate hint of sugar candy, light mineral notes, initially appears quite hard, but becomes significantly more juicy with aeration, vegetal notes on a good to very good finish.
