Firm, slightly dried floral aroma of ripe mainly black berries and cherries with quite fine herbal aromas and moderate, slightly nutty wood spice. Tart, juicy, again firmly knitted fruit with bite and ripe, fine sandy tannins, some coffee-spicy wood with cocoa notes and hints of milk chocolate, herbal tones in the background, a little salt and liquorice, slight alcohol warmth, very good finish with ripe juice, a hint of juniper and again chocolaty wood. Currently perhaps not as exciting as in its early youth, but still excellent.
