2016 Ried Altenberg Zweigelt trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear nose, light peppery, mineral and herbaceous notes, polished black berry aromas and some cherry fruit. Very full-bodied on the palate, but remains quite cool, with very polished, tart fruit, firm, fine, youthful tannins, light acid bite, moderate smoky oak in the background, fairly prominent mineral notes, good depth, light peppery spice, fresh style, clear contours, very good, firm, juicy finish.
