2020 Oberrotweil Pinot Noir trocken "Schwarze Erde", Baden, Germany

A little smoky and dried-vegetable to herbal scent of red and black berries with a hint of soup herbs and juniper traces as well as a little tobacco barrel tones. Tart, relatively cool fruit, crumbly-sandy tannin, nutty tones and a hint of bitter chocolate, some bay leaf and pepper, also salty nuances in the background, a little drying in the good to very good finish with ashy nuances.
